Being a Twin
Olivia, 11 years old (twin to Jack):
The coolest thing about being a twin is that you always have somebody to hang out with. On the other hand, the worst thing about being a twin is that you ALWAYS have somebody to hang out with … and sometimes that can be too much of a good thing!
While my brother annoys me like crazy, I still love him more than anything in the world. He is one minute older than me but we were the same weight and height when we were born. I know I can always count on him to be there for me (because he has to!) - and I know he can count on me as well.
When we travel as a family, I always have someone to ride rides with, throw a ball with, play on the beach with. When we went to the beach in Mexico, we ran football plays for hours - the time flew by because we were having so much fun and didn’t realize the sun was starting to set. Of course, we fight like normal siblings fight every once in awhile, but mostly we have lots of fun together.
