THE BEST EASY BIRTHDAY PARTY IN AUSTIN
My second and youngest kiddo just turned 9. My oldest was 12 in June. I love birthdays and I love parties, but I’m kinda partied out. I have done the Pinterest worthy birthday bashes and frankly, I’m ready for easy peasy. Well, there is a new place in South Austin that has made my dreams come true without making me feel like my kid was sacrificing the party of her dreams.
Altitude Austin is that place and this is why:
THE SERVICE
Our party was on a busy Sunday afternoon and we had to check in at the party desk. This process is the only part that was a bit of a pain, but after about 15 minutes we met our 3 party coordinators. Our coordinators set up our decorations, had a cooler full of cold water for the kids, and had a timeline ready for activities and food. Once the kids had arrived and were jumping the coordinators were constantly checking in with us to see if we needed anything. After the party they took care of all the clean up.
THE FACILITY
This place is heaven for kids. There are what seem like miles of trampolines, a trapeze swing, a foam pit, bouncy basketball court, dodgeball, rock wall, and a jousting pit. We only saw the kids for pizza and cake. They had the best time and all went home stinky and tired, things I consider party success.
THE COST
While this place is not cheap, it is a one stop shop. We have thrown many types of birthday parties for our kids and at the end of the day all the small charges added up to pretty much the same as this party so it was easy for me to get over the initial sticker shock.
ALL AGES APPEAL
The party we had was for our 9 year old, but we ran into a group of friends from my oldest daughter’s middle school. The fact that there is a place in town that both littles and big kids can’t get enough of makes Altitude a fantastic option when I am looking for a fun activity for the kids.
