The Easiest Catering Experience
If you’re hosting a party and want an easy one-stop shop, look no further than Mandola’s Pizza On Wheels.
We recently hosted a family pool party, and wanted to serve something fun and different for dinner. Since this was a family event and there were going to be adults and kids eating, we had to come up with something that appealed to both groups. I had heard of Mandola’s mobile pizza oven, and had always wanted to use them. Unfortunately, they were always booked up. However, I finally got lucky and they were available for the night that I needed! It only took me 2 emails and 10 minutes to come up with a dinner menu. Delia, their catering manager, was very quick to reply to my emails. She made the whole process easy, and I was done.
We were going to have a mobile brick oven making hot fresh pizzas…how cool is that?!
Here’s all you have to do:
- Each pizza feeds about 1 adult and 1 kid. Find out how many pizzas you will need to pre-order. They have a 25 pizza minimum.
- Pick your toppings or use their already created pizzas. Delia will send you the list of pre-created pizzas and available toppings.
- Let them know what time you want the pizzas to start coming out of the oven, and by when you want dinner to end. We had them make pizzas over a span of 2 hours.
Here are a few tips:
- For your gluten-free guests, you can provide Mandola’s with the dough and they’ll make you any kind of pizza (with the ingredients they have brought).
- For your vegetarian guests, Mandola’s has some amazing suggestions.
- You can add iced tea or lemonade to your catering for a small additional cost.
- Keep your pizza variety to only 4 or 5 different kinds of pizzas. It keeps things nice and simple.
The best part -- Mandola’s will box up all your leftover pizzas. They will even box up uncooked pizzas that you can freeze and bake later!
Our party was great, and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The adults and kids equally enjoyed the menu. I will definitely use Mandola’s Pizza on Wheels again.
